Women Photograph

Women Photograph is an initiative that launched in 2017 to elevate the voices of female and non-binary visual journalists. The private database includes more than 500 independent women documentary photographers based in 87 countries and is available to any commissioning editor or organization. Women Photograph also operates an annual series of project grants for emerging and established photojournalists, a year-long mentorship program, and a travel fund to help female photographers access workshops, festivals, and other developmental opportunities. Our mission is to shift the gender makeup of the photojournalism community and ensure that our industry's chief storytellers are as diverse as the communities they hope to represent.

Native

Native Agency's goal is to amplify the voices of visual storytellers from underrepresented regions and connect them to a global audience. While the journalism and documentary industry struggles with issues of diversity and equity, Native is a platform that aims to highlight and nurture visual journalists from less represented regions and showcase their work to the world at large.

Majority World

Majority World works with talented photographers from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. We specialise in sourcing high quality images from these diverse continents, which provide unique insights into local cultures, environments and development issues. We also work with client organisations to commission assignments for our photographers, who have the advantage of being able to understand and access the language, lifestyle, and locality — because it is their own.

THE Everyday Projects

The Everyday Projects use photography to challenge stereotypes that distort our understanding of the world. We are creating new generations of storytellers and audiences that recognize the need for multiple perspectives in portraying the cultures that define us. We are a network of journalists, photographers, and artists who have built Everyday social media narratives that delight, surprise, and inform as they confront stubborn misperceptions.
